FINGER LAKES REGION

from $300.00

July 11- 13, 2025- Friday (3pm)  - Sunday (10am)  - (Semi-Private)

Join me for an inspirational program in upstate New York where we will be chasing waterfalls, pushing your creativity to the next level and creating powerful images with basic concepts.

The Finger Lakes is a group of 11 long, narrow, roughly north–south lakes in a region called the Finger Lakes region in Central New York, in the United States. This region is defined as a bio-region The lakes' shapes reminded early map-makers of human fingers, and the name stuck. They are also characteristic glacial finger lakesCayuga (435 feet deep, 133 m) and Seneca (618 feet, 188 m) Lakes are among the deepest in the United States, with bottoms well below sea level. They are also the longest Finger Lakes, though neither's width exceeds 3.5 miles (5.6 km); Seneca Lake is 38.1 miles (61.3 km) long, and 66.9 square miles (173 km2), the largest in total area.

A few of the locations we will be visiting includes Watkins Glen State Park, Buttermilk Falls and Robert H. Treman State Park. (Not in any specific order) Our days will be based on a very flexible schedule allowing us to adjust to the opportunities based on the weather and light conditions, so you can have the best experience each day.

Each morning we will start before sunrise and be out past sunset. We will be in the field capturing the falls so be prepared for weather. Midday we will be taking a break for lunch and rest then head out for more photography. Carpooling is suggested.
