The Highlands of West Virginia will be the setting for this winter wonderland photographic adventure. Join us as we spend three days photographing Blackwater Falls State Park, Canaan Valley, pristine cascades and incredible canyon vistas. The WV highlands are a core for landscape photographers and in the winter the area comes to life with it's winter splendor. A visit to the WV Mountain Highlands is an extraordinary experience!

Cost: $895 - (Fee includes mentoring only. Meals, lodging and transportation not included in cost)

Transportation:

Although driving conditions will consist of mainly paved roads, due to the snowy weather conditions a 4WD is recommended. When possible we prefer that participants’ car pool with each other to help limit our impact and get to know each other.

Fitness Level:
Moderate - This program does involve some hiking to arrive at certain shooting locations, while other shooting locations will be just beyond the parking lot. Even short hikes to streams and meadows can involve slippery, uneven terrain, so hiking boots are recommended. A standard liability release form will be required before departure.

Participants should have a working knowledge of exposure (f/stop and shutter speed) and know how to operate their equipment.
